Wrinkle Whitening
Hyaluronic acid injections to fill fine lines
The bleaching technique is an aesthetic medicine procedure that fills in fine lines by injecting weakly cross-linked hyaluronic acid. It can treat shallow and slightly marked wrinkles in a very subtle way.
Explanation
aesthetic medicine procedure that fills in fine lines by injecting weakly cross-linked hyaluronic acid
The bleaching technique is an aesthetic medicine procedure that fills in fine lines by injecting weakly cross-linked hyaluronic acid. It can treat shallow and slightly marked wrinkles in a very subtle way.
The injections are superficial and aim to correct an epidermal break. The procedure requires perfect control and great precision to avoid injecting the product too deeply into the epidermal layers.

01.
MAIN INDICATIONS
The “blanching technique” is particularly recommended to counteract the first signs of skin aging, or to correct areas that are difficult to treat with deeper injections.
It is perfect for erasing wrinkles located above the upper lip, commonly called “the bar code”. The result is natural and does not cause swelling of the treated area, as could be the case with deeper injections. The volume of the lips is not modified, the whitening technique simply smoothes the skin.

CONSULTATION
The consultation allows you to express your wishes and to point out small imperfections to be corrected. A clinical examination is essential for choosing the treatment best suited to your problem. The consultation before any surgery or cosmetic medicine procedure is also an opportunity to express your fears and questions.
An information sheet of the intervention, as well as a detailed estimate will be given to you to help you make your decision. It will then be necessary to respect a legal deadline of 15 days before carrying out the bleaching technique.
03.
THE BLEACHING TECHNIQUE
The principle of this technique is to inject weakly cross-linked and therefore very fluid hyaluronic acid, superficially. The injections are carried out subcutaneously, not too deep, for a natural result. The syringe is introduced into the skin in a certain orientation, to optimize the work of “smoothing” the skin.
The hyaluronic acid used has the particularity of being absorbed spontaneously and very quickly by the body. The procedure is not painful.
04.
BEFORE INTERVENTION
No special examination is necessary before performing the bleaching procedure.
The usual precautions are still required to obtain a good aesthetic result. Thus, one should avoid smoking and taking antibiotic or anti-inflammatory treatment, exposure to the sun, etc.
Medical history will be checked during the first consultation in preparation for the procedure.
05.
BLEACHING INTERVENTION
Injections are performed in the office. The procedure is painless and does not require anesthesia.
The duration of the procedure varies depending on the areas to be treated. The number of syringes of hyaluronic acid required for this treatment is estimated by the surgeon before starting the procedure. Due to the low dose injected at each entry point, and the precision required by the technique, a duration of between 10 and 30 minutes can be estimated.
06.
AFTER INTERVENTION
Socio-professional activities can be continued immediately after the bleaching procedure, upon leaving the office.
Since the injections are given at a relatively superficial level, there is no bleeding and skin reactions are extremely rare.
However, you should avoid exposure to the sun without UV protection.
07.
THE RESULTS
The aesthetic result is immediately visible. The skin is smoothed and rejuvenated. The facial volumes are not deeply modified. Wrinkles are simply smoothed out. There is no skin discoloration following the bleaching technique, or persistent marks.
The hyaluronic acid used naturally disperses after about a year. However, injections of this product stimulate the production of collagen naturally present in the skin, which can lengthen the time between two treatments.
08.
RISKS & COMPLICATIONS
There is little risk of complications following technical bleaching. Reactions to the injection product are sometimes encountered, but the initial consultation allows us to take stock of the risk factors that may present a contraindication to the performance of this aesthetic procedure.
09.
THE COST
The cost of the bleaching technique varies depending on the amount of product injected. A quote detailing all the necessary information is given to you during the first consultation.
Please note that social security does not cover medical procedures if they are performed for purely aesthetic purposes.
